As
per the guidelines of the Higher Education Department, Government of Tamil
Nadu, in the recently held meeting, the academic year 2020 – 2021 do commence
from 03.08.2020. Hence, Our Management requested to make necessary arrangements
for conducting online classes for the students studying in II years B.Ed.
On
this day all the faculty of Auxilium College of Education gathered in the
College for the inaugural academic year 2020-2021. At 10 am started with a
short prayer service followed by an input session by Sr. Maria Pushpam the
Secretary and the Principal of the college. She gave enlightenment to the
teaching Staff about online teaching and acquires the knowledge of the media
according to the science of the times for the students of those who are
entrusted to our care.
Sr.
Malar Jothi had a meeting with the staff to discuss the workload. The
timetable, teaching of subjects and various activities for the academic year of
2020 – 2021 have been discussed and decided together. They were motivated by her to work in a team
and to be sincere and dedicated to their responsibilities.

Teachers will conduct classes through online platforms and the teachers are
also asked to upload the video lectures along with study materials in the
respective College whats app.
3. The Mobile Number / E-Mail id’s and other
details of the students should be kept confidential by the faculty members. It
should not be disclosed and misused by anyone. It is the complete
responsibility of the Principals and the staffs of the College of Education to
make use of the personal information of students for academic purposes only.

The attendance of students for each online session shall be taken from the
online Platforms and the same should be recorded properly by the Principal of
the College of Education for future reference.
5.
As per NCTE Norms, the total working days for the B.Ed program will be 200 days
per academic year hence the syllabus shall be completed before the end of 200
working days including Saturdays.
7.
Continuous assessment, internal tests, seminars, etc including Practical
sessions also be conducted and demonstrated to students through online mode and
it should be properly documented.
8.
Keep the record of the students' online attendance, teaching materials of
PowerPoint, videos, screenshots, etc send once in 15 days of every month to the
university through email.

ORIENTATION FOR
THE STAFF:
The management
decided to give orientation for the staff on 5th and 6th about “ how to take a
class in online teaching”. Fr.Xavier Backyam SDB, the Rector of Don Bosco
animated the program. He gave an introduction to the importance of online
teaching. Then the experts instructed and demonstrated to staff, the guidelines
of taking the class for "online teaching". All the staff learned and
benefited from it.

Sc-Scholarship
The Scholarship officers from Pudukottai came to our
college to inspect the scholarship records of 2016-2017 batch students.
15.08.2020
At 9.30 am the flag march was decorated and kept
ready for flag hoisting. Sr.Malarjothi arranged a ceremony of flag hoisting.
Sr. Rodriguez Mary Magdalene hoisted the flag in the presence of Sr. Maria
Pushpam. All the sisters of the community, staff, and the girls were prayed for
the country.
